題目:

Some people prefer to get up early in the morning and start their work. Others prefer to stay up late at night and work during the night.

Which do you prefer and why?
Include specific reasons and examples in your response. You have 15 seconds to prepare and 45 seconds to speak.

答題:

There are two types of people: type 1 prefer to work or study at night and get up later. Type 2 prefer to work or study at the morning so they get up early. If they get better sleep, they will do their job efficiently. Early or Later is ok.

細節不足,語法錯誤,時長不夠。

I personally prefer working in the morning. Although some people like staying up late and working at night, I feel more productive when I wake up early. For example, in the morning, my mind is fresh and I can concentrate better. I usually study with a cup of coffee and there are fewer distractions. I believe the most important thing is getting enough sleep, but overall, morning hours help me manage my time and stay focused. That’s why I choose to start my day early.

寫作:

Independent Writing: I agree with the statement that it is more important for students to understand ideas and concepts than it is for them to learn facts. There are two reasons that support this opinion: First, in the developing information technology, we can easily learn facts. For example, if I want to know the history of 8964, I can search the keywords on Google or Wikipedia, and eventually can ask AI for further information, reference books. Before do this study to know the facts, we should have the concepts of learning and studying first. If we have better ideas and concepts of how to get the facts, is easy to get facts. Seconds, the ideas and concepts is hard to format, and is hard to change at later life-time. We should learn and practise the 'right' or better ideas and concepts at student stage. For example, If I format the wrong concept of democracy, It is hard to get the infair facts of society.

修改後的版本:

I agree with the statement that it is more important for students to understand ideas and concepts than to memorize facts. There are two main reasons that support my opinion.

First, in the modern age of information technology, facts are easy to access. For example, if I want to learn about the historical event of June 4, 1989, I can simply search for it on Google or Wikipedia, or even ask AI tools for further explanations and reliable sources. However, before searching for facts, we must have the right mindset and concepts about learning. Without the idea that history requires critical thinking and different perspectives, we may only gather shallow or biased facts. Therefore, understanding how and why we learn is more fundamental.

Second, ideas and concepts are more difficult to form and change, especially later in life. That’s why students should develop solid and thoughtful ways of thinking while they are young. For instance, if a student forms a biased or incorrect concept of democracy, they may later accept misleading information without question. However, if they are taught how to analyze ideas critically, they will be better equipped to evaluate the facts they find.

In conclusion, while facts are important, the ability to understand and work with ideas and concepts is what allows students to truly benefit from the information they acquire.

A quiet place where knowledge echoes.

Here I collect my study notes on Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern clinical science — not only to learn, but to revisit. In this space, repetition becomes a tool, and memory a companion.

Through repeated reading and reflection, skills become second nature. Bit by bit, I sharpen my clinical insight and refine my craft — steadily working toward the physician I aspire to be.

Logo:
